The Exchange is a collaboration of peers that curates solutions, tools, events, and more, all focused on helping owners and operators to make building performance upgrades across Massachusetts.
Who is it for?
- Small portfolio developers, building owners, and operators with buildings subject to Building Performance Standards.
- People who enhance building performance and reduce carbon pollution in large existing buildings in Massachusetts. Large buildings are ≥ 20,000 square feet or have ≥ 15 units if residential.
Who is behind it?
The Building Performance Exchange is a program of Built Environment Plus and is funded by the Mass Clean Energy Center.

The Building Performance Partnership

Built Environment Plus is a participating statewide hub in the Building Performance Partnership (BPP). The network supports the creation and operation of local high-performance building hubs that accelerate measurable, equitable, and sustainable action to improve the health, comfort, and performance of buildings.
